Getting reconditioned cordless drills is a very smart way to shop. Why pay new when you can get a "like new model" for a fraction of the price.

Where you get it from makes a HUGE difference
You MUST buy a "factory refurbished" model for best results. Why? Here are 2 reasons:
#1)They take PRIDE in their work
Why? Simply because they stand to their reputation is on the line. There are a lot of 3rd party companies that fix up used machines-but if it still doesn't work, they can then say it was just the manufacturers fault.
#2) Better warranty
In most instances they will have MUCH BETTER warranties. Other companies will not have as good of warranties-and sometimes none at all.
The bottom line--be very wary when purchasing through a 3rd party. This doesn't mean you should never buy from one... just that in most instances they are your best bet.
But MAKE SURE you get a quality brand
Many times people think they can save even more money by getting an already cheap refurbished model. The problem is that often times those machines were shoddy to begin with--there's no telling how long a used one-even one that's been fixed up--will last.
But don't forget to shop around
Factory refurbished models are sold at various outlets... and the different outlets will have different prices. Going with the first outlet you see might end up costing you a lot of money.
And don't forget to compare warranties-this makes a BIG difference when talking about used machines. Getting "factory refurbished" reconditioned cordless drills is almost ALWAYS the way to go.
